Tell me a little about yourself: Lazaris The Top Don is Puerto Rico & Cuban. He grew up in the streets of Hunts Point in the South Bronx area of New York where most would describe it as a place where only the strong survive. At the tender age of 9, Lazaris began to make his way around the local “battling” circuit. This is the ultimate litmus test for any bonafide serious “rapper”, as it is a no holds barred musical duel of lyrical improvisation where, after the dust settles, only one person is usually left standing, a scenario Lazaris usually found himself in. Due to this skill he was successful in mastering. Lazaris is known for his lyrical ability & is known as an OG in The Bronx for his very diverse & very versatile styles. To date, Lazaris is a “jack of all trades’’ as a writer/composer, performer, entrepreneur, clothing designer and club promoter. He is also branching out into other areas of
media such as artist development, fashion, model management and developing his overall brand.

What advice would you offer other aspiring artists?
The nature of Lazaris The Top Don isn’t just to climb the ladder
of success until reaching the top. His inclination is to “uplift”
others, as he climbs himself. In other words, putting others ‘on’
who are as hungry and as ambitious to rise in their artistic
professions and help guide them just as what was done for
himself.
What separates you from other artists?
Lazaris can rhyme in both English & Spanish. He has a rapid
fire freestyle that sounds like he wrote everything from
punchlines, to witty styles & a smooth delivery. With hard core
bars & a voice that reminds you of Big Pun & Jadakiss all fused
in one. Lazaris owns his own label; Top Don Empire & is
